1. About Us
Emma's Lab is a small Swiss handmade business selling plaster painting kits. We operate under Swiss law. Contact: [email protected]
2. Products
All products are handmade in small batches. Each kit includes a pre-cast plaster figure, acrylic paints, a brush, and instructions. Product photos are representative — slight variations in the plaster figure may occur as each piece is handcrafted.
3. Ordering
Orders are placed by submitting a request form on our website. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion (e.g. if a product is out of stock).
Prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price at the time of your confirmed order applies.
4. Payment
Payment details are communicated by email upon order confirmation. We currently accept bank transfer (IBAN) and other methods as agreed. Payment is due before dispatch unless otherwise agreed.
5. Delivery
We deliver within Switzerland. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. Risk passes to the buyer upon handover to the postal carrier. Shipping costs, if any, are communicated at the time of order confirmation.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
As a consumer under Swiss law (Art. 40a OR), you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] before the 14-day period expires. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the goods are defective.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been clearly personalised or used.
7. Returns & Defective Goods
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with a description and photo. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (texts, images, designs) is the property of Emma's Lab and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your order applies.
